Wurlitzer DX Orchestrion

Fine here after a photo gallery of a 1919 Wurlitzer DX orchestrion.

The dating of 1919 is based on newspaper that covered the bellows. Some sport comments and the fact a Friday 10th of October occur on this year and was mentioned in some advertisement help us to figured out when were printed the newspapers.

The percussions as well as the upper case that cover it where a later addition. It’s Wurltizer type percussion and mechanism, but hard to find clear indication of this addition. From the type of woof use for the percussion cover case it was probably made on 1960th or 70th.

Could be and addition made by Stan Peters, from USA, Iowa of the name was found inside the instrument.
